On Board there was a sudden event.
The head of the Federal security service Alexander Bortnikov called the crash of the Egyptian airplane A320 in the skies over the Mediterranean sea to the terrorist attack.
At the same time a former French head of Department on investigation of aviation incidents (BEA) Jean-Paul Troadec also said the crash “almost certainly” was caused by a terrorist attack.
The expert explained that the absence of a signal on the emergency suggests that on Board there was a sudden event associated with force action”. “The crew said nothing, they did nothing, so it is highly likely that it was a force, and, of course, we can assume a terrorist act”, – he stressed.
“Technical problem, fire or failure of the engine do not lead to instant disaster, the crew have time to react”, – said Troadec.
