Dentist Jacobus van Nirop was sentenced to 8 years in prison.
A French court delivered its verdict in the case of a Dutch dentist Jacobus van Nirop that sickened people for their own pleasure. He has been imprisoned for 8 years, and fined 10 500 euros.
The court received evidence of sadistic bullying dentist on patients. In many of his patients were recorded, broken jaw, torn extra teeth, sepsis, and was also observed recurrent abscesses.
It is reported that 51-year-old dentist was nicknamed “the dentist of horror” in the town of château-Chinon, where he worked.
According to investigators, the doctor injected patients with large doses of anesthesia, and after they fell asleep – mutilated them. One of his patients said that at some of the techniques Jacobus ripped out her eight teeth, then the mouth were bleeding continuously for three days.
In addition to “moral satisfaction” the defendant received more and a good additional income: he carried out the fraud with insurance clients.
Dentist’s lawyers said that their client had mental problems. Very unfortunate the doctor admitted his guilt, stating that he “was not interested in people”.
After the trial Jacobus will go to jail for the next 8 years and will pay a fine of 10 to 500 euros and will forever be deprived of a license of a dentist and medical rights activities.
