The Hubble telescope showed thousands of galaxies located in the constellation Leo.

This was informed by experts of Agency NASA.

According to information from scientists, Leo constellation includes one of the largest clusters of galaxies. It includes just about twenty three thousand luminaries, spaced from each other at a distance of more than ten million light-years. Holding them back at the force of gravitation inherent in such massive clusters.

The researchers were able to notice a huge cluster of galaxies in the constellation. It was called MACS J1149.5 + 2223. It is located about five billion light-years from our planet. Now experts examine it for the presence of various analogues of the Solar system. Galactic cluster in the constellation is extremely massive, mind what for more detailed study and will require a large amount of time. Experts said that the research used an open their effect of gravitational lensing, providing an overview of the galaxies on a larger scale.

It is noteworthy that the light, which now came to Earth from the constellation of Leo, has started its journey more than five hundred million years ago.
