Horizons for Xbox One will release in early summer.
This summer, Elite Dangerous: Horizons will be available for users of Xbox One.
The PC game available became available in December 2015.
Note that the developers decided to release Elite Dangerous: Horizons separate heads, which allows them to continue working on the game while users are in the first part. Also this is a pretty good marketing move, as rave reviews from gamers and attract more audience.
First for owners of Xbox One will be available to the Planetary Landings package version 2.1, after which soon enough will appear extension The Engineers. The first portion of the content allows players to land on the surface of planets and natural satellites. Conduct research by using a special robot-Rover. After the initial examination opens the possibility to carry out the extraction of resources and engage in confrontation with other players.
After the second update, the game added new features starship. The developers emphasize that this is the last case of asynchronous updates of the versions of the game for PC and Xbox One. In the future everything will be released simultaneously for both platforms. How much it will cost once the update is currently unknown.
