Archaeologists working in the ancient Pskov, found one of the most significant recent treasure.
A huge amount of precious coins, jewelry, crosses, icons, folding icons are so covered with patina, is that they are almost impossible to distinguish from each other.
Archaeologists attribute the discovery to the end of XVIII – early XIX century.
The find is amazing, because so many ancient relics in one place for a long time people did not show. Experts excited, they make assumptions about the origin of the treasure, in more detail, delve into the history of the region.
It is worth noting that the last time Pskov is literally a treasure trove of archaeology. Here with enviable frequency find relics of XVI – XVII centuries and was recently discovered coins of almost a thousand years ago. The oldest finding of this territory are the remains of settlements in the time of the baptism of Kievan Rus.
