France and Belgium have blocked a visa-free regime with EU for Ukraine
France and Belgium have blocked a visa-free regime for Ukraine due to the high level of corruption in Kiev. This was reported by the Brussels correspondent of “Radio Liberty” Rikard Jozwiak on his page on Twitter.
“European diplomats said today on visa liberalization for Ukraine. No movement as long as the safety mechanism will not be developed. Belgium and France have problems with the issue of corruption in Kyiv,” he wrote.
Earlier, the President Ukainy Petro Poroshenko promised that the documents on granting Ukraine a visa-free regime will be fully signed and ratified by the European Parliament.
“There is no doubt. I can even say to what date this will happen before 24 November,” he said.
