More than four thousand people have fled the Iraqi city of Mosul since the beginning of the attack on city controlled by Islamic state.

“More than four thousand people left the territory near Iraqi Mosul since a major military operation to capture the city controlled by ISIL,” – says the publication.
As reported, on 17 October, Prime Minister of Iraq Haider al-Abadi announced the beginning of large-scale operation to liberate the city of Mosul from the terrorist group “Islamic state”.
Support units of the Iraqi army and Kurdish militia have force of the international coalition led by the United States.
