eBay banned the trade in human skulls

The world’s largest Internet auction site eBay banned the selling of parts of the human body, including the skull.

Earlier parts of the skeletons could be purchased on the portal for medical purposes. However, the company found that many people buy the bones and skulls to collect, and not to study.

For seven months, during which time on eBay traded in human bones, was put on sale 454 skulls. The majority of authors of these ads was in the US.

It is noted that the skull, which was sold on eBay, most likely, have been dug up from graves in India and China.
