Force of tremors of a magnitude of 6.1 felt in Northern Italy and southern Germany.
Scientists from the Institute for electromagnetic sensing of the environment matched radar image, which was taken on October 26 and November 1, in order to determine the consequences of the earthquake of a magnitude of 6.1, which occurred in Italy on October 30.
The results of the comparison are the European space Agency (ESA).
As emphasized by the specialists of the Agency, crustal deformation occurred on the territory of 130 square kilometers, in some places, the shift of the crust exceeds two feet. In particular in the area of Cutelucca in Central Italy earth’s crust has shifted by 70 cm.
