This bridge is the largest of the glass bridges in the world
In the Chinese province of Hunan for the visitors opened the glass bridge, which is the highest and the longest such bridge in the world.
A pedestrian bridge with a length of 430 meters and a width of 6 meters, was built at an altitude of 300 meters. The floor of the bridge consists of 99 transparent plates, made of three-layer glass. It connects two mountain rocks in Zhangjiajie national Park, where they filmed Avatar.
Architect єtogo bridge is Israeli Haim Dotan. The cost of such construction is estimated at $ 3.4 million.
The management of the Park Zhangjiajie has announced that it will be put on the bridge not more than 8,000 visitors a day.
Note that this is not the first glass bridge in the country. Such constructions are very popular in China – primarily because they can take interesting panoramic shots.
