Station fixed spot light on the ring of Saturn.
Station, Cassini transmitted to Earth the spot of light that appeared on the ring of Saturn.
As reported on the NASA site, such spots are an example of the “opposition surge”, which leads to the formation of the glow effect.
“The opposition surges appear when the Sun is directly behind the observer, who looks at the rings of Saturn.
The special location of the observer allows to make the effect of the glow even stronger.
