BlaBlaCar is considering the introduction of a fee for passengers service in Ukraine.
Known service BlaBlaCar, specializing in the services of ridesharing, is considering the introduction of a fee for the Ukrainian passengers using the service.
As reported by the communications Manager and PR BlaBlaCar in Ukraine Yulia Krupenko, the amount of such fees may depend on the route, its ultimate size can be up to 20%.
“In Ukraine successfully develops as in other countries, and in the future the Commission is expected to be implemented”, she added, noting that the exact timing of the introduction of the fee and other details are under discussion.
For car owners, providing their cars for the use of the service, still the service will be free.
Such a mechanism, according to Yu Krupenko, working in many countries and will accelerate the development of the service and increase security and improve efficiency.
According to the website BlaBlaCar, for example, in the summer of 2016 car owners offered three times more trips on the service BlaBlaCar than in the summer of 2015. Only on the route Kiev-Odessa on one of the output drivers are offered more than 4 thousand seats in their cars.
