The Vanquish coupe Zagato fulfilled in the stylistics of the fastest supercars “Aston”.
alascom tuning Studio Zagato and Aston Martin have developed a new concept coupe called the Vanquish Zagato. Public premiere of the car will take place at the exhibition Concorso d’eleganza (Competition of elegance” on lake Como on may 21.
The car was designed and engineered in the headquarters of Aston Martin in Yorkshire. The design of the machine worked as Marek Reichman of Aston Martin and CEO of Zagato, Andrea Zagato. The car’s bodywork is made of carbon fiber. The car received a blacked b-pillar, retractable spoiler, wing mirrors in the style of the One-77 and the exhaust system with four pipes.
In the cabin compartment installed new seats and a different instrument panel. The vehicle is provided with a 5.9-liter V12 petrol engine. The power plant has increased to 600 horsepower. The dynamic characteristics are still kept secret. The power of a standard version of the coupe is 576 horsepower. To the first “hundred” Vanquish accelerates for 4.0 seconds. Maximum speed – over 300 km per hour.
Atelier Zagato is not the first company engaged in processing of Aston Martin. Earlier, the Italian design Studio Bertone has created a unique Aston Martin Rapide station wagon to be shown at the Geneva motor show. The car will be called the Jet 2+2. He released in a single copy.
