Sale AM-RB 001 should begin in 2018. The prototype model was presented last month. The serial version will be released in a limited edition of 100 copies and will be available in two versions: road and track. Differences from concept design will be minimal.
The movement of the prototype leads atmospheric V12, and the power unit is equipped with a cooling system of the engine and transmission used on Formula 1 cars. Dynamic characteristics of the car are still kept secret. The output of the unit, according to unofficial data, will exceed 900 horsepower. Acceleration to 100 km/h is 2 seconds. Maximum speed will exceed 320 km per hour.
All in all, the next seven years, the company plans to introduce seven new vehicles. In the company’s lineup will include three of the sports car, two of the sedan Lagonda, a DBX crossover and a new flagship model, details of which were not disclosed. It is planned that the new items will appear every year. In addition, considerable financial means Aston Martin will invest in developing its own power units and transmissions.
