Hubble made the unusual picture of the crab nebula.
Scientists using a telescope “Hubble” has received an unusual shot of the crab nebula, which is located at a distance of 1,500 light-years from Earth in the constellation Libra, according to the website of the telescope.
Nebula was formed in the explosion of a supernova.
The received “Hubble”, differs from other images of the crab nebula due to the use of only one filter. It allowed to give the nebula an unusual green tint.
In the center of the nebula is a pulsar, the size is similar to the satellite of Mars Phobos, but the weight of which is 1.5 times greater than the mass of the Sun. The pulsar rotates at 30 times per second.
