Hypercar will receive a full carbon construction.
The company Aston Martin has unveiled a prototype hypercar, developed together with Red Bull and its chief engineer Adrian Newey. The premiere of the car, which will be released in an edition of 150 copies, was held in the headquarters of the British manufacturer.
According to head of Aston Martin, Andy Palmer, the production car looks to be as close to the prototype, although there will be changes “a few millimeters”. Hypercar will receive a fully carbon construction, and its ratio of power to weight reaches the value of 1:1.
The novelty will be a mid-engined coupe with a petrol-electric powertrain on the basis of the seven-liter atmospheric V12 engine. Now the same unit, developing over 800 horsepower, are installed on the track the Aston Martin Vulcan.
