Apple accused of stealing the iPhone concept

Apple обвинили в краже концепции iPhoneAmerican accused Apple of stealing iPhone ideas and demanded $10 billion.

American inventor Thomas Ross from Florida has filed a lawsuit against Apple, which, according to him, stole from him the idea of the iPhone.

Ross claims that he invented the technology used in the iPhone and iPad back in 1992.

In proof of his words he presented the drawings that were submitted with the application for a patent 15 years before the release of Apple’s phone. One of them depicts a device with a large screen and several buttons at the bottom, the other a convertible model with touch screens on both sides and a stylus.

The invention is a computerised, electronic reading device, the purpose of which is the provision of alternatives to paper media such as books, magazines, manuscripts and media” – Ross described his invention in the documents.

However, to patent the invention he has failed because he has not paid fee. 12 days after Apple founder Steve jobs introduced the first iPhone in 2007, Ross filed a lawsuit against the US Patent office, which refused to register the invention.

Now the man demands $ 10 billion compensation and 1.5% of total sales of the Corporation.
