Amnesty International: torture in Turkey for prisoners rebel

Human rights organization on July 24 urged Turkey to grant independent observers access to institutions, which contains more than 13 million suspected of committing crimes.

“The allegations of ill-treatment including beatings and rape those held in police custody are extremely obespechitelnyh”, – said the Director of the European division of Amnesty International John Dalhuisen.

In addition, human rights defenders condemned the recent decree of the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, which allowed a number of exceptions to compliance with the rights of detainees. In particular, it is allowed to withdraw the correspondence between detainees and lawyers.
