Gas in the cloud is enough to create over two million new stars.
The milky Way galaxy, where the Solar system will face enormous gas facility – “Smith’s Cloud”.
According to experts of NASA, it will happen in 30 million years.
The trend towards convergence of the milky Way galaxy and the “Cloud Smith” scientists noticed in 2008 with Autonomous Observatory Hubble.
The gas cloud is at a distance of 8000 light years from our galaxy and moves at the speed of 240 kilometers per second.
In the opinion of the representative of a group of NASA researchers, Andrew Fox, and a collision is imminent. If an explosion occurs, the power of the cloud will be enough for the formation of 2 million stars of the same size of the Sun.
