Joint Institute for Nuclear Research suggested the names for the 119 and 120 of the elements of the periodic table. According to a press release of the Ministry of Education and science of the Russian Federation, JINR proposed to the International Union of pure and applied chemistry (IUPAC) to name their Moscovy, in honor of the Moscow region and ohaneze, in honor of Yuri Tsolakovich Oganesyan, head of the scientific laboratory of nuclear reactions JINR, co-author of 104-107 discoveries of elements of periodic system. Physicists from JINR reported about the plans of the synthesis of element 119 previously, but the results were not published. The attempted synthesis of 120th element was made by Russian scientists in 2007, but a single one born of the atom were recorded. Earlier, on 30 December 2015, IUPAC confirmed the discovery of the elements with numbers 113, 115, 117 and 118. At the moment their name is derived from the numerals corresponding to the numbers. IUPAC has given priority to opening 115, 117 and 118 elements at JINR and the Lawrence Livermore and oak ridge national laboratories.
