Young Spaniards would prefer to walk at night

Молодые испанцы предпочитают гулять по ночам

Spanish youth prefer to relax after sunset. According to the news Agency Europe Press, 78 percent of young people aged 16 to 29 years, go outside after dark.

And get home well after midnight. Studies show that 12 percent come back after 6 am, 21% between 4 and 6 hours, 31% between 2 and 4 hours, and only 30 percent to 2 am. However, 10 years ago the number of those who returned home in the morning, was much larger (over 50 per cent walked at least 4 hours).

A couple times a month does that half of Spaniards, another 30 percent every weekend. While 62 percent of the time they go to a bar, in 38 percent – to the disco and 35 percent – to a friend’s house. And not necessarily that night they will visit only one place. Since the economic crisis began in 2008, many have started to save, so first there are relatively cheap bars and then to the disco (alcohol is expensive). With get-togethers with friends everything is much simpler: alcohol is purchased in advance in the store.

Thanks night the young people as they themselves note, try to escape from the dullness of ordinary life and to feel a sense of freedom.
