The Prime Minister said that the budget to implement it will be very difficult.
The Cabinet has not yet had the necessary financial resource for an immediate increase in social standards in Ukraine. This was said in Parliament Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, UNIAN reports.
“We now have an additional resource no. Due to the significant drop in oil prices, due to the collapse in prices for main export positions of Ukraine, we will be very difficult to fulfill the budget. I say: if the implementation of the budget will be better than expected, it means that money will be spent on social payments”, – said Yatsenyuk.
He also reminded that in 2015 the inflation rate was a record – exceeding 43%, and the decision of the Parliament and the government on the indexation of wages and pensions by 13% and 19% did not offset the rising prices.
Recall the last time all social benefits and minimum wages and pensions rose in September 2015.
