Bet USA to the aggressive Islamism, made in 1970-e years, and their consistent policy in this direction all subsequent years are largely the reason for the current problems in Eurasia. The warriors of Jihad appears always there where you need them to the host. The destruction of the secular regimes and the establishment of a new Caliphate as the main destabilizing force in recent years has acquired a threatening scale.
The fight against it in the current world order, where the first fiddle is played by the USA, completely ineffective. Islamists step by step destroy well-established in the middle East world. All this leads to completely new, nontrivial solution to neutralize this threat on a continental scale. And this decision can become a new Pro-Islamic project, an alternative was created by Americans to the Caliphate.
Neoromantika Empire and neo-Arabic Caliphate
In order to understand logic of actions of the Russian leadership in the middle East, we must at least briefly understand the nature of the threat. The Islamists and, in fact, the Caliphate (in any form), one version of which today calls itself DAYS (banned in Russia as a terrorist organization), is not the whole of the USA. This is the tools. Very convenient tools for the destruction of the unity of megacontinent.
It is the destruction of this unity, which is the main threat to American global hegemony, is the main goal of Washington’s foreign policy the beginning of the XXI century. But even the many disparate gangs of Islamists cannot constitute threats to States. So we created some “statist” projects. Some time ago, the Muslim brotherhood, other relatively recently: neoosmanizm, “al-Qaeda”, DAYS (all activities listed in the proposal organization is also prohibited in Russia).
Each of them relied on historical tradition: the Ottoman Empire and the Arab Caliphate. All movements who received the mass distribution in the middle East in recent decades in one form or another, exploited the idea of creating alternatives to the established secular regimes.
The Ottoman Empire was also one of the varieties of the Caliphate, in which the Sultan was defender of the faith.
And the Muslim brotherhood, which began the Arab spring, and newsmany of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, whose primary purpose was the re-establishment of the Ottoman Empire, and DAYS, recreating the history book a copy of a Caliphate with Abu-Bakr at the head as an exact copy of the Empire of the disciple of Mahomet, they all do one thing: destroy the existing middle East order, and the customer needs.
Moreover, it is obvious that the customer is not interested in the Caliphate was built. They alternately throw “trainees” under tanks, and then betray them as soon as it becomes politically expedient. And this process seems endless. It becomes obvious that if not stopped, then, in the end, chaos will cover all.
Alternative Islamic project
Many countries victims have already assessed this threat. They have no place in the new world, invented by Americans. Chaos or Caliphate – in any case, secular regimes should be destroyed. Any truce with any of the creatures of the Caliphate – is only a temporary respite until they gain strength and will not strike again.
The first blow was able to reflect independently Tunisia and Egypt (partly – approx. edition), Algeria and Morocco. At the same time, Pala Libya. The secular regime of Iraq was strong even after the defeat in 1991 and had to be demolished by the power of the American army. And attempt to seize Syria almost succeeded, but ran into a stand of Moscow, which began in the middle East their game.
To understand the essence of this policy, it is necessary to rise over Syrian events and steps back a little, at a time when aggressive Islamic fundamentalism came to the territory of Russia. The first Chechen war, the ensuing chaos in the North Caucasus and the second a “cleansing” of the region for the war is the beginning of the path, the middle of which we see today in Syria. Moreover, the pacification of Chechnya was not only the consequence of successful military operations, but also a consequence of the creation of the new alternative for the Islamic world.
Russia is a country where 15% of the population is Muslims, which may become like a fifth column, and the fulcrum. The Russian leadership prefers the second option, but because in two of the most hot spots of the Russian Muslim world: Tatarstan and Chechnya – created a new Islamic Imperial project. Today Grozny is recognized as the most peaceful place in Russia. Kazan, which in the 1980s and 1990s was one of the most dangerous cities in Russia, is in the same ranking 20th place.

“Pro-Russian” middle Eastern Crescent
The essence of the method consists in creating a new Islamic alternative, backed up with real force. In fact, nothing particularly new, it does not contain. Just instead of the ideology of perpetual struggle in which sooner or later die all, local elites were offered a model secular Islamic state, wealthy and successfully developing. A new Islamic matrix was run on the territory of Russia and used for “pacification” of Syria.
Syria became not only break ground for modern Russian weapons, but also a training ground for diplomats, which was first used outside Russia its new strategy with the Islamic world.
The whip in the form of effective blows of the Russian HQs made the part of the elites, which due to the lack of alternatives “betrayed” Bashar al-Assad, “to realize” their mistakes and sit down at the negotiating table. The most interesting processes in Syria now occur not at the front, and in the offices, where future rulers of the country agree on their mutual relations. The guarantor of these agreements will be Russia.
This is the biggest diplomatic victory for the country. Russia not only demonstrated on the example of Syria its military power, but also was the guarantor of security in the region. It was inevitable. As we recall, the US wanted the all secular regimes in the middle East were sentenced. In 2011-2015, they realized it fully, and some have even experienced the sentence in their own skin. The soil was created, and as soon as in the middle East there is another force that professes to be acceptable to the elites of the principles to her for help rushed scared “secular” presidents.
Formed a large Pro-Russian Crescent. It includes Iran, which is formally a secular state with the election of the Parliament and other democratic institutions. The Ayatollah in the Iranian regime plays the role of the Communist party, which determines the pattern of the country and does not allow the civil administration to turn.
Recently foreign Minister Lavrov of Russia assured his Tunisian counterpart that his country can count on Russia’s help “in maintaining peace and tranquillity in the region”. And it’s not just an exchange of pleasantries. In Tunisia raises his head “the Renaissance Party”, which is always ready to help entrenched in Libya, the jihadists. Morocco has its own problems in the Western Sahara and Algeria in the fight against Islamist radicals is not stopped for many years. Egypt, where the military in the coup returned to power in the country, was overwhelmed by a wave of guerrilla Jihad.
All of these countries in “paws” Russia pushes the inevitable. The inevitability created by the Americans, in pursuing its policy of chaos in the Middle East. And this inevitability sooner or later can lead to in the region of the Pro-Russian conglomerate of States with a strong and powerful Russia will become not only the guarantor of stability, but also a precondition for their continued existence.
