The world anti-doping Agency (WADA) has expressed a desire to work in contact with the new Minister of sports of Russia Pavel Koloboks on the restoration of the Russian anti-doping Agency (RUSADA). About TASS said the press service of the organization on Thursday, October 20.
“WADA is constantly working with the representatives of sports sphere and governments worldwide in their efforts to ensure compliance with the world anti-doping code. This activity will remain in the case with the new Minister of sports of Russia, with which WADA would work on the restoration of RUSADA,” said WADA.
Kolobkov was appointed Minister of sports of Russia on October 19. On the same day by the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed from the post Vitaly Mutko knew the Deputy Premier.
Kolobkov is a Russian representative in the Council of founders WADA, he was elected to the European division of the organization. At the moment, his powers are suspended due to a mismatch of RUSADA of the WADA code.
