The funeral will take place on 3 September in his hometown of Karimov in Samarkand. State Commission for organization of funeral Karimov has vozglavil Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev. The Commission included the Chairman of the Senate of Nigmatulla Yuldashev, the speaker of the Legislative chamber of nurdinjon, Chairman, members of the government, Ministers, members of the public.
In connection with the death of the President of Uzbekistan will be declared three days of mourning.
