During the military operations killed more than 45 thousand militants of the “Islamic state”.
This was stated by the representative of command of the United States, General Sean Mcfarland, the Ukrainska Pravda reported citing the Houston Chronicle.
According to him, it is difficult to talk about specific numbers, especially when it comes to the number of fighters who continue to fight the “Islamic state”.
Earlier, their number was estimated in the interval from 19 to 25 thousand, now the U.S. gave the following figures – from 15 to 20 thousand. In addition, the General said, and the territorial achievements of the coalition increase.
“All I know is, if we have somewhere to come, it is easier to do than a year ago,” he said.
