The Minister of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev believes that the government should not once again “freeze” of the pension. He recommended that all “don’t touch anything” the funded pensions, reports TASS.

The Minister told reporters that the government condemns the various options of pension reform. In particular, in addition to “freezing”, a joint project of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Finance on the introduction of a voluntary system.

On the question of raising the retirement age, the speaker called it a natural solution. He suggested starting this procedure from 2018.

According to the Minister, the retirement age should be raised all to 63 years. For men enhancement process should take six years for women – 16 years, according to Ulyukayev.

About the possibility of another, the fifth in a row, “freezing” of pensions a few months ago, said the head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina. This measure can bring to the budget additional 390 billion rubles.

Currently the retirement age for men is 60 years for women 55. Labor Minister Maxim Topilin noted previously that increasing the age of retirement will not contribute to savings. He also noted that such a step the authorities can only go after the increase in life expectancy in the country.
