Ubisoft has released a new video for the game Watch Dogs 2, which revealed the true motives of the hackers. The players, along with comrades from DeadSec have to fight against the system.
In the video, the developers said that hackers DeadSec take on the role of freedom fighters, bringing clean water to politicians and corporations that try to manipulate people. As a philosophy, the hackers chose the direction of “hacktivism” — the idea of the struggle for freedom of speech, freedom of information, human rights with the help of computers and computer networks.
Players will actually commit all the available tools for a new revolution in the modern sense of the word. Among these tools includes such exciting features as remote hacking, penetration into forbidden places, gathering and using information about bystanders, control drones, and more.
