They disappoint the majority of tourists.
The portal Businessinsider.com summed up the results of a survey of Internet users on the topic of the worst places they visited as tourists. See 15 of the most disappointing places on Earth.
1. Casablanca, Morocco.
Comments about each of the disappointed cities was taken from Reddit and wrote them mostly Americans. “The most uninteresting place in such a wonderful country. Casablanca is a business town located on the coast, where it is very expensive mosques built by the former king, there is nothing that would be worth a look,” wrote user “Matthattan”. 2. Malé, Maldives.

3. Jamaica.
“Constantly demanding a tip and want paying for everything with money. If you love resorts all-inclusive, doing nothing and just bask on the beach, maybe Jamaica is for you. But if you prefer to enjoy the wild nature and to get acquainted with the culture, you will be disappointed,” wrote “aussydog”.
4. The pyramids in Cairo, Egypt.
“The pyramids are visible even from Pizza Hut, so you cannot separate them from the city. In place to you non-stop fit the Egyptian deceivers; and really want to hit them in the face, so they left you alone. We stood there for only 15 minutes,” wrote “Broes”. (Photo: saleh alkouh/flickr.com).
5. The leaning tower of Pisa, Italy.
“It is much smaller than it seemed in the photos. And the buildings around are much prettier. I was confused,” he shared his opinion “Happypants69”. (Photo: domingo leiva/flickr.com).
6. Mount Rushmore, USA.
“When you get to the tourist center, go to the observation deck, where you can see a few tiny heads in the distance. It’s hard to say whether the sculpture is smaller than in reality, or is it the distance from which you look at them, but overall impression is very disappointing,” wrote “Ratbastid”.
7. Stonehenge, UK.

8. Daytona Beach, Florida, USA.
“A few years ago, friends persuaded me to go there. No, more on their own, I don’t appear there. There is literally nothing interesting, not to mention unkempt beach”, — told the “danecdote”.
9. Pompei, Italy.
“In Pompeii was full of tourists. All the beautiful mosaics were moved to museums. If you want to watch something more interesting and better preserved and less crowded place then visit the nearby ruins of Herculaneum” — advised “Ecuadorable”.
10. Gibraltar.

11. Naples, Italy.

“I visited the backyard of Europe,” wrote “Breerocks”.
13. Marrakech, Morocco.
“I’ve never been bothered or molested, just because I’m a woman. Constant harassment and disrespect (shopkeepers yelled at me if I did not buy anything, and sometimes just for fun. They would laugh if I was uncomfortable. Men I never heard that screamed) has led to the fact that I promised myself that never again will not come back,” wrote “Probs_wrong”.
14. Athens, Greece.
“I was expecting to see the cradle of civilization. Instead they saw the ruins in the woods,” wrote “Kuba_Khan”.
15. Sentosa, Singapore.
“Well developed and fashionable city linked with one of the largest malls in the world (Vivo Mall), but… you come to the beach by train, sit on the sand, watching the ocean and all you see is the ships and the Smoking chimneys of the factories.
