The Ukrainian journalist was accused of violation of moral norms for the import of the monograph RISS

In Ukraine, journalist Dmitry Skvortsov was charged with violation of moral norms for the import into the territory of the country of scientific work of the Russian Institute for strategic studies (RISS), dedicated to the historical memory about the Second world war. It is reported TASS with reference to Deputy Director of the RISS Tamara Guzenkova.

This is a collective monograph RISS “Heirs of Victory and Defeat. The second world war in the historic policy of the EU and the CIS”, in which Ukraine got to the list of banned books as a publication aimed at “the application to the nationals of the methods of information warfare, the spread of ideologies of hate, fascism, xenophobia and separatism, infringement of territorial integrity and state structure”.

According to the Guzenkovoj, Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Skvortsov, who brought this work from Moscow, was detained for violation of customs control. In early March over him the court invalidated data charges, then law enforcement authorities have charged him with an additional count of violation of moral norms.

As said the starlings in Facebook, the court has appointed examination of the book.

Guzenkova, in turn, noted that the authorities of Ukraine the definition of the monograph has no relation to reality, and only used as a “blueprint” for Kiev objectionable literature.
