The Ukrainian edition revealed details of the murder of a lawyer Grabowski
The Ukrainian edition of “Vesti.Reporter” has revealed details on the murder of lawyer Yury Grabovsky, who defended the Russian Alexander Alexandrov.
How did you find the journalists, the murderers were two young guys — 26-year-old Artem Y. from Poltava region and 19-year-old Maxim from H. Kotovsk (Odessa region). Both suspects are already detained and give evidences.
On March 5, the lawyer went from Kiev to Odessa — where he took a room in the sanatorium “Arcadia”. In the evening he was stopped, but on March 6, suddenly appeared in the Kiev office along with the unknown.
“About 5-6 in the evening opened the door to the office, went Yuri Leonidovich. I shook hands with him, but he said nothing, went to the closet. Something they picked up and left. It was all over in 60 seconds,” said assistant Grabowski.
After a few days, the police asked the colleagues of the lawyer and the administrator of Arcadia, concerned about the disappearance of the client — lawyer rented a room for two days, but disappeared on the first day, leaving all the things in the room.
A colleague of the murdered lawyer Oksana Sokolovsky, which protects the second detainee of Russian Evgeny Erofeev said that the Grabowski went to Odessa on personal business, as in the case of the working visit, he would tell her in advance. According to the journalists, the boys promised the lawyer “romantic meeting” for the purpose of extorting money, the more that the detainees had engaged in a “divorce” of wealthy people — it’s hinted one of their friends.
According to the decree of the court about the arrest of suspects, criminals in the evening took the lawyer’s mobile phone, Bank card and withdrew from the ATM 7280 USD. After that the lawyer was taken to Kiev, where he gave them another $13 thousand. All this time, Grabowski was under the influence of drugs. On the way back the criminals killed Grabowski secondary school in the village of new Zhashkov district of Cherkasy region — there and buried the body. Chief military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatoliy Matios said that the lawyer was killed from firearms.
Later, the criminals tried to cover his tracks and published on behalf Grabowski messages in social networks, where it was alleged that he is resting in Egypt. However, acquaintances of the lawyer and the police alerted other style messages and a photo where he was in the jacket, worn on top of shirt — never before Grabowski doesn’t dress like that. One of the robbers even flew on March 12 in Egypt using iPhone dead and was detained in Odessa airport immediately on your return.
Despite all the circumstances appearing, Sokolowski and Matios believe that the lawyer was killed for political reasons. In support of this version, the chief military Prosecutor showed reporters a video in which the Grabowski waives the protection of Alexander and States that “discovered the mistake”. At a press conference, the attorney also hinted that the perpetrators are high-ranking customers. A colleague murdered in his turn reported about the pressure that was on the lawyers of the Russians.
“It’s possible that this crime is connected with the fact in which I take part. You see, just before Jura was gone, we talked about trying to withdraw it from the case of Alexandrov. For me the map worked, even tried to take into custody. And Yuri was sure that it, too, will think of something. But nobody thought that would happen here is,” said Oksana Sokolovsky.
The disappearance of Grabowski started talking after he did not appear at the hearing on 9 March. 25 March was found the body of a lawyer.
On 21 March it became known that the “fighters FCU”, one of which defended the murdered lawyer, was preparing an attempt. Chief military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatoly Matios reported that foreign intelligence agencies planned to “eliminate” the Russians.
