The starting round of the group stages of the European competition brought Ukraine’s three different outcome – the victory of Shakhtar, a draw of “Dawn” and the defeat of the “Dynamo”.
Shakhtar, having beaten on departure “Konyaspor”, put in the General coin box two points. Another item added “dawn”, divided the points in a house match with “Fenerbahce”. Without scoring points were only Dynamo Kiev in the opening round of the group stage of the Champions League at the NSC “Olympic” lost “Napoli”.
Portugal, the closest landmark of Ukraine in the coefficients table, in the first round group stages of the European competition had to be satisfied with three draws and one defeat. Ukraine 0.1 points closed the gap on seventh place. The gap is more than five points to win back the deficit in the current season would be virtually impossible.
As for the pursuers, Ukraine, Belgium in the first round can boast of the victory of Anderlecht and two draws “Standard” and “Gent” in the group stage of the Europa League. From Ukraine the Belgians separated by almost six points.
