Huawei is expanding the production of phones. Now they will be assembled in India
Guide Huawei said that it believes the expansion of market demand for smartphones in the neighboring state. In 2015, India has 800 million users of smartphones and the company expects that by 2020 the number will increase to 1 billion.
Currently India is experiencing a boom in the production of various electronic devices. This became possible thanks to the support of the government in the opening of new businesses the world’s leading companies in the framework of the state program “Made in India”. Now two-thirds of the Indian demand for the phones covered by own production. The Chinese manufacturer has issued a license for 19 months. It is planned that the plant will be built in chenai (southern India).
Direct manufacturer of smartphones will become Flextronics International Ltd. Huawei by the end of 2017 is going to produce about 3 million devices. The company wants to simplify service and delivery system. In India there will be many new outlets for the sale of phones. Open trade will help to reduce the dependence of the Indian market from exports from China and Taiwan.
Competitor Huawei in India is Xiaomi, Lenovo and Samsung. Despite stiff competition, the company earned on the sale of devices for the citizens of India to 20 billion dollars.
