The British company TVR has published video that shows the design of the front end of the first model after the revival of the automaker. The video published on the channel TVR on YouTube.
On the official website of the company about a new model it says only that it will get mounted in front of the engine V8, manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. In TVR also noted that the model will be presented as a hard top and removable roof.
The engine for the new TVR was developed by Cosworth. Its impact is greater than 400 horsepower. From standstill to 96 kilometers per hour (60 mph) the novelty will be able to accelerate faster than four seconds.
In Autocar said that the model is likely to be called Griffith. The automaker has already received about 400 pre-orders.
Full-scale model of the new sports car TVR also exhibited at the motor show in London, but covered with a veil and is used only for predpokaza design clients. According to the inscription on the cover, the model will be presented this summer, and the first commodity cars will appear in late 2017.
Since 2004, the company owned TVR to Russian businessman Nikolai Smolensky. In 2012 the production of cars under the brand TVR was stopped, and in 2013-m Smolenski sold to the founder of the company-developer of computer games Bullfrog Edgar Woods all rights to the automaker.
New TVR Assembly plant will be located next to the race track Circuit of Wales. By 2020, the automaker is going to produce more than two thousand cars annually.
