Analytical Agency “AUTOSTAT” has compiled a rating of the best-selling SUV in Russia by the end of February of the current year. During the period have been implemented to 41.5 thousand autoident the SUV segment.
The decline in sales of crossovers in the Russian market in February compared with the same period in 2015 amounted to 6 %. Only the share of the SUV segment in the Russian market is about 40%. So, once again the most popular SUV Renault Duster, which has sold 4.2 million copies, and it’s 42% more than last February.
On the second place ranking was the Japanese crossover Toyota RAV4 with a number of sold models to 3.06 thousand, which is almost 122 % higher than a year earlier. It is significant that the three leaders among SUVs has closed a domestic car, namely LADA 4×4, which was acquired 2,67 thousand people, increasing sales of this model is 29%. In addition, in the TOP 10 included crossovers such as the Chevrolet Niva, Nissan X-Trail, Nissan Qashqai, UAZ Patriot, Toyota LC200, Mitsubishi Outlander and Mazda CX-5.
It is noted that only in February the Russian market has sold more than 73 thousand autoedits, but not in the same segment recorded net sales growth compared to year 2015.
