Studio Eidos Montreal and company Open Bionics has created a unique prosthetic hand.
Studio Eidos Montreal and company Open Bionics teamed up to create the most stylish, functional and affordable prosthetic arm whose design was inspired by augments, Adam Jensen — the protagonist of the role-playing stealth action games Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
Another partner of the project is Razer, manufacturer of gaming peripherals. The company provides Open Bionics webcam Stargazer to work with prosthetics, which is equipped with advanced motion capture technology. Thanks to her and the special software it is possible to force the prosthesis to exactly repeat the movement of this limb of the human.
At the moment, already ready partially working prototypes. It is noted that the prosthesis will be called the Titan Arm and Adam Arm and is suitable only for those who had lost an arm below the elbow. Be supplied devices will be in different sizes (for men, women and children), and their development, the assurances of engineers, must be completed before the end of next year. Test samples can be seen on “test” in virtual reality on shows E3 and Gamescom 2016 2016.
