Photographer Timothy Allen visited the family of Kazakh nomads who annually make the 160-kilometer crossing of the Altai Republic.
This large family through the steppes of Western Mongolia, carrying with them all their goods and chattels and taking a large number of animals.
Sometimes the relocation takes several months and lasts from February to April.
