“The ethnic origins of beauty” (The Ethnic Origins of Beauty) is a non-profit art documentary and research project devoted to the ethnic diversity of the human race.
“We chose the language of beauty to appeal to the hearts of a broad international and multicultural community, – write on the project website. – The aim is to show the real scale of ethnocultural diversity; to show each different nationality, regardless of its small size and official status”.
On the project since 2012, works of the Russian photographer and photojournalist Natalia Ivanova. She has collected nearly 100 photos and videoportretov representatives of over 50 nationalities from 15 countries on 4 continents. The first official screening of works by Natalia, dedicated to the International women’s day took place in Paris in March 2014. The project has already received the recognition of UNESCO.
