Kia came up with the unusual name for the new car.
The new model should be on the line in the middle of next year. One of the representatives of the Korean brand slip on engines which power can expect potential buyers of new items.
At the moment the specialists of the Korean brand finalize a prestigious sedan in the lineup, Kia will be placed between flagship sedan Quoris and the business Optima sedan.
Structurally the car is very close to Genesis G80, and from the point of view of design is a further development of the concept, demonstrated by the concept car Kia GT.
The other day Damien Meredith, one of the leaders of the Australian branch of Kia, said the publication Motoring information about the engines that will be available to buyers of the new model. There are two V-shaped “six”: an engine volume of 3.8 liters will develop 311 HP, bidorbuy unit with a volume of 3.3 litres – 362 HP
By default, the car will be rear-wheel drive, but it is likely the emergence of all-wheel drive version. Meredith also announced the base price of the new sedan is 40 thousand dollars.
Currently, the project known under the working title of the UK, but the production car will get a proper name. According to Meredith, it will be called Stinger – which translated means “sting”.
