Doublet Pool
This source depth of 2.4 meters and a temperature of about 90 degrees located at the top of the Park’s geysers Yellowstone. Approximately every two hours this source emits a small amount of water , and then again calms down.
Grand Prismatic
The largest hot spring in the United States and the third largest in the world. The source opened in 1871 and so named because of the diversity of their coloring.

Cistern Spring
The source suddenly appeared in 1966, and due to the active emission of gas nearly destroyed all the vegetation and trees around them. Sometimes it acquires a blue tint, but usually it’s green color.
Sapphire Pool
So named because of the resemblance to the precious stone sapphire. One of the hottest springs in the Park. The temperature is approximately 96 degrees. After the earthquake of 1959 was actively throwing plumes of boiling water to a height of 45 meters, but in 1968, the emissions suddenly stopped.
