To draw up documents about the accident and get insurance on the “europrotocol” will become easier. The Ministry of transport intends to change the rules of reporting of accidents to the insurer and the requirements for technical means of verification. Thanks to innovations, from January 2017 at avtostroy companies will have the opportunity to learn about the circumstances of the accident in the automatic mode in unadjusted form — for example, speed and acceleration of the vehicle at the time of the accident, according to news Agency “SeverInform” with reference to “Izvestia”.
We will note, the innovation will also help to increase the payments on the “europrotocol” to 400 thousand, whereas now they are limited to 50 thousand.
The final version of the draft decree of the Ministry of transport has not yet been published. However, the authors of the normative act believe that its adoption will be possible to prevent also the growth of fraud in insurance.
