The Japanese invented an ultra-lightweight drone

Japanese developers have created an ultra-lightweight drone weighing less than 200 grams. The device has already passed the first tests on the Japanese island of Kyushu, where recently there was an earthquake.

The publication reports that the Japanese center of cartography in Tokyo, in tandem with the Institute of scientific and technical research on the prevention of natural disasters, had created an experimental model of the drone.

The drone is made of ultralight carbon fiber, and uses four propeller from penopolistirolnyh resin. This quadcopter can easily fit into your palm, and with batteries it weighs no more than 200 grams.

The device has in its Arsenal compass, navigation receiver of GPS signals and a camera with a resolution of 8 million pixels. The machine can climb to a height of 20-30 meters and to create three-dimensional images of ground objects.
