Apple plans to increase the amount of internal memory the new iPhone up to 256 GB.
According to the publication, the company plans to release at least one of the versions of the new smartphone iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus, with 256 GB of storage and increase the minimum available memory for this model up to 32 GB from 16 GB.
Such step will allow to solve one of the biggest problems faced by owners of iPhone: lack of storage space for photos, music and videos.
This problem was even ridiculed in a recent promotional video Google.
Apple releases a smartphone with a storage capacity of 16 GB since the launch of the iPhone 3GS. Since then the company has added the ability to create a video with 4K resolution and presented the technology of Live Photos, which lead to rapid filling of the memory device.
Before that, Apple offered users to store their files on iCloud, but now the company has decided to release a smartphone with a storage capacity of 32 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB.
