The Ministry of the interior announced a tender for the supply of non-lethal acoustic effects, which are mostly used to disperse the demonstrators. Such devices are used openly in the U.S. at least since 2009, in particular, they were used to disperse the demonstrators in Ferguson. As reported by “Russian planet”, the device “emits a loud directional sound, which is almost impossible to tolerate”. It was emphasized that such devices are used for peaceful purposes, for example, to keep the birds away from planes.
