The Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion, as it turned out, was being prepared for release, following the appearance of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in 2007. However, the development decided to collapse before it was completed partly because of lack of funds, partly due to the fact that the game was not good enough to wear the proud name of the series.

A leaked version of the game provides several levels, elaborate battle system, storyline and some NPCs. The developers planned to add to the game around 180 quests, but only part of them managed to implement in the game.

If the game was released, players would be able to visit high Rock, Daggerfall, Glenpoint, SunGard, Artikler and other locations in the world of the legendary series. Currently, the publisher is not going to develop a game for either the PlayStation Portable or for a more modern handheld consoles. Apparently, the players have not happen to see the game, although the developers of Saints Row, Volition team released the first cancelled game for handheld consoles.
