The countries “the seven” have agreed to invest more actively in the development of the oil and gas industry. It is reported TASS with reference to the joint statement of energy Ministers of the G7, issued after a two-day meeting in the Japanese city of Kitakyushu.
“We stress the importance of a stable and growing investment in these sectors, which in the long run will provide the security and stability of energy supply and will contribute to global economic growth”, – reads the statement of the energy Ministers of the G7.
As noted in the document, “accelerating investment in the light of current energy prices and their volatility is needed to mitigate the possible risks for the development of the world economy in the future.”
