Former head of Department of servicing of VIP-clients “Novokuznetsk municipal Bank” was sentenced to four years probation for embezzlement worth more than one billion rubles, reported on the official website of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
The court found that from December 2012 to December 2013 Svetlana Marchenko, acting at the direction of the Manager of the Bank, transferred the funds without the knowledge of depositors to the accounts of affiliated firms. The result from the accounts of VIP customers was stolen more than a billion rubles.
It is noted that in the framework of the investigation carried out it is judicial-accounting examination, the results of which showed the movement of funds from accounts of “Novokuznetsk municipal Bank”. Because the defendant is concluded from the result of a plea agreement, the criminal case was allocated in separate production.
“She was found guilty of committing a crime under part 4 of article 160 of the RF criminal code (embezzlement of entrusted property in especially large size — ed.)… the Verdict Marchenko was sentenced to four years of imprisonment conditionally, and also satisfied the claim of more than 490 million rubles”, — stated in the message.
It is noted that the former Director AKB “Novokuznetsk municipal Bank Alexander Pavlov charged with “abuse of authority, which entailed grave consequences” and “embezzlement of entrusted property in especially large size”. Now he gets acquainted with case papers. In the account of damages investigators seized the property of Pavlov, including his belonging to the family of SEC “city Mall”, the estimated cost of which is about five billion rubles.
