The Agency on insurance of contributions (ASV) in the first half revealed in the banks 3,2 thousands of fictitious deposits in the amount of 2.8 billion rubles. It is stated in the report on the results of the organization’s activities in January-June 2016.
“In the nineteen banks identified 3,2 thousand cases of artificial formation of deposits by inclusion in accounting documents of the Bank technical records about crediting of funds to accounts of natural persons for unlawful obtaining of insurance compensation for a total amount of 2.8 billion rubles”, — stated in the materials of the DIA.
Also during the preparation and conduct of insurance payments, the Agency found evidence of fraud using the double-entry bookkeeping. In this case, in the official account does not reflect information about the open accounts of citizens. “Such cases of fraud to embezzlement by employees of banks funds of 10.6 thousand depositors totaling about 8.9 billion identified in four banks”, — stated in the documents.
On August 15, Deputy Chairman, head of the Chief inspection, Bank of Russia Vladimir Safronov has told about the three main problems of the Russian banks — lending to their owners, inflated asset values and fictitious capitalization.
In June, the General Director of DIA Yuri Isaev said that the Agency has spent on payments to depositors of banks that lost their licences, more than a trillion rubles.
