In may last year, representatives of HBO, said that the continuation of the series will not. However, now the new program Director of HBO Bloyce Casey reassured the audience – in his opinion, the franchise can be continued.
Bloyce told reporters:
The idea of the extension of “true detective” for a third season is not dead. We are open to ideas, and new episodes can be started in development, however now we will work with other writers – Nick Pizzolatto too busy on other projects, but is willing to act as a consultant”.
