The court ordered Fomenko employed to return the sports car Marussia money

Tver court of Moscow ordered the TV presenter Nikolai Fomenko and his partner Anton Kolesnikov Marussia to return the loan taken in the Bank “FC Opening” on the development machine. On Friday, March 18, reports RAPSI.

Fomenko and Kolesnikov have to pay to 64.6 million rubles. This decision may be appealed in the Moscow city court within a month.

Last summer the Bank “Otkrytie” (former “Petrocommerce”) has filed a lawsuit against Fomenko and Kolesnikova, accusing them of non-payment issued in 2011 year of the loan and demanding to recover the principal debt and a penalty in the amount of 65 million rubles. The loan was issued on Fomenko and co-owner Marussia Motors Kolesnikov was a guarantor.

The defendants ‘ lawyers insisted that Fomenko after the conclusion of the loan agreement money from the Bank and have not received. The lawyers claimed that signatures on a supplementary agreement to the Treaty and the instrument of his termination — a fake. According to the defense, Fomenko mentioned in the documents the date was abroad, as evidenced by a stamp in the passport.

However, handwriting examination, carried out by order of the court came to the conclusion that the signatures on the documents genuine. Ultimately, the court recognized the legal requirements of the Bank.

Marussia Motors — a company producing sports cars of premium class, was founded in 2007 by Nikolay Fomenko and Yefim Ostrovsky political strategist. Co-owners are Anton Kolesnikov and Andrey Cheglakov. The company has developed a sports car Marussia, produced in two models B1 and B2, in 2010 the company introduced a concept crossover Marussia F2. In the same year the company became an official partner of the racing team Virgin Racing. However, luck was not in favor of the riders in the car Fomenko: in the 2011 season they didn’t score a single point, and to take part in sports 2012 season machine team failed to pass a series of mandatory crash tests. In the fall of 2014 Marussia Motors went bankrupt.
